After Wellcome got fined for offering potato chips that were more expensive at a “discounted” price, a convenience store, 7-Eleven, has committed the same offence, offering a Mega ice-cream bar for HK$6 for one and HK$16 for two in a poster advertisement.
Another 7-Eleven store in Sai Wan advertised one box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates for HK$64.9 and HK$130 for two boxes, or about 20c more expensive than buying them separately.
Better not trust those flashy “sale” tags anymore!
