Temperatures are sizzling hot in Hong Kong and it’s so hot that the Hong Kong Observatory issued a hot weather warning today and yesterday.
Today is no exception to the hot weather, and despite warnings to stay indoors and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and intense outdoor activities, a group of friends decided to go hiking at Sai Kung today. Oriental Daily reports that at around 3pm, one girl from the group suddenly fainted and had to be rescued by a helicopter. The girl was sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital for treatment.
