With the Hong Kong Observatory forecasting extremely cold weather in Hong Kong, many Hongkongers and reporters have flocked to Tai Mo Shan, hoping to catch a glimpse of frost and ice building on leaves.
Oriental Daily reporters noted temperatures of 0 degrees Celsius on Tai Mo Shan at around 6am this morning – the average temperature forecasted in the city was 6.7 degrees Celsius.
