There have been talks that young people, like students, in Hong Kong are looking to leave the city, but a recent survey shows that Hong Kong is still a popular destination for foreign students.

In the QS Best Student Cities list published yesterday, Hong Kong takes seventh place, leaping up 12 places from last year. Hong Kong still lags behind another Asian city Singapore, which is ranked third.

The report illustrates that Hong Kong received very high scores in terms of employer activity and university rankings, but is not very affordable for students with high food and transportation costs.
