Hong Kong to welcome first group of Burmese domestic helpers

The first group of domestic helpers from Myanmar will start work in Hong Kong come Chinese New Year.

 

About 20 maids from Myanmar will start as soon as the Chinese New Year and more Burmese maids will be introduced to Hong Kong families at employment centers.

The group of 20 Burmese helpers are said to have significant working experience in Singapore, completed two months of training in elderly and child care, and is well-versed in Mandarin and English.
