Hong Kong tourists fear for their lives on mainland tour

A Hong Kong family who took park in a two-day Easter tour in Zhongshan ended up fearing for their lives when they found themselves on a tour bus with a driver and tour guide who were unfamiliar with the roads.

According to the Apple Daily, the family of 13 were terrified when the bus driver made abrupt stops on the highway when deciding whether to take an exit bridge or not and at one point even drove the vehicle on an opposing traffic lane because he was unsure of where he was or where he was going. After all this the tour guide disappeared as well during the trip. When the tour group returned, they lodged a complaint against China Travel Services for hiring inexperienced tour guides and bus drivers.
