The Invisible War is in full effect, and we’re all caught in its crossfire.
Through its own decoy network, an internet security firm has brought to life a real time map of the raging cyber conflict with real-time animation of attacks between the world’s nations.
Attacks arc in what looks like one-off sniper fire, while at other times the map is overwhelmed with massive denial-of-service attacks, most of which originate in China and target the United States.
Hong Kong also figures heavily in the mix as an origin and target of attacks. At the time of writing it was the second biggest attack target and sixth biggest attack origin.
