Hong Kong ranked most competitive city in China

Rumour has it that Hong Kong will soon be replaced by mainland cities like Beijing and Shanghai, but statistics show that Hong Kong is still ahead of them.

According to the 2013 China Cities Competitiveness Ranking, Hong Kong is named the most competitive city in China, followed by Shanghai and Beijing.

The cities are assessed according to their size, international influence, openness and more – and Hong Kong had scored better in most aspects.
