Just when you think Hong Kong lawmaker Regina Ip can’t get any more goofy, she goes and goofs up again.
First, she gets duped out of HKD65,000 in an email scam, then she gets knocked into next Tuesday by a dancing dragon, then she calls domestic workers “sexual resources” for white men.
This woman’s just one epic fail after another!
Now, the chairwoman of the pro-Beijing New People’s Party has inadvertently put herself up for identity theft again after accidentally posting her Hong Kong ID number to Facebook.
The error was made on Aug. 10 when – for some ill-advised reason – Ip decided to post the results of a recent colonoscopy exam to the social networking site.
TMI, we agree, but the lawmaker was apparently keen to show the electorate that she’s ready to get back to work after a recent bout of illness.
Could she not have got that across without sharing photos of the insides of her poop tubes? Unfortunately for us, apparently not.
Unfortunately for her, the image Ip attached also contained her ID number.
The post was removed later that day, with Eric Chan, the manager of Ip’s Facebook page, saying the leak had caused his boss much anguish.
