Hong Kong expat still breastfeeds her three-year-old triplets, says it fosters their competitive drive

Hong Kong expat Davina Wright has been breastfeeding her triplets since the day they were born… over three years ago.

The Daily Mail, the ever-trustworthy source of important, breaking news, reports that the 45-year-old mother breastfeeds her triplets Willow, Connor and Summer every morning and night.

“They each have their own room and I go in to each of them individually and it is a lovely bit of one-on-one time,” Wright said.

Wait, hold up. This lady has a right breastfeed her children however she likes – in fact, we commend her for her commitment – but each kid has its OWN ROOM?! Where does she live?!

According to Wright, the three toddlers are now very competitive as they have to fight over who gets to be nursed first.

Breastfeeding is an excellent and affordable way to nourish babies if it works for their mothers.

The World Health Organisation recommends that babies be exclusively breastfed until they are 6 months of age, with “continued breastfeeding along with appropriate complementary foods up to two years of age or beyond”.
