Hong Kong Chief Exec gets ‘fraped’: Sexy model pics appear on Facebook page

Hong Kong Chief Executive CY Leung isn’t having much luck on social media. To top his own controversial posts, someone has allegedly hacked his Facebook account and added pictures of barely clothed women to his friends’ list.

The specialist cybercrime unit of the Hong Kong police has been investigating the matter since Leung’s office complained that the leader’s account had been hacked, his profile picture changed and new friends added on Dec. 24, the SCMP reports.

According to Next Magazine and Apple Daily, Leung appeared to have gained at least 14 new scantily-clad female friends. Hard life, eh. A Christmas present for a man who has everything?

If the hacking allegations are true, Facebook is going to have to explain how such an embarrassing security breach could have occurred in one of their most heavily used global markets.

It’s only been a few months since the social networking giant upped security, promising to notify account users if and when they were hacked. It’s not clear whether or not Leung received such a message.

If the allegations are true, it would make Leung one of the first heads of government to have their Facebook account hacked. At least he’ll have something for his legacy then.

Leung only set up his account in October, and is known for having extremely tight privacy settings. The majority of users can normally only view a select few of his friends, such as the education minister Eddie Ng and the University of Hong Kong’s law lecturer Eric Cheung.

Facebook had not responded to a request for comments from the SCMP as of last night.

Leung had been in Beijing on his annual duty visit before returning to Hong Kong on Dec. 24. His information coordinator, Andrew Fung Wai-kwong, who assists with running the Facebook page, did not travel with Leung.

We suppose that’s just what happens when old people are left to their own devices on social media.
