Hong Kong art student fights for press freedom at award ceremony

At a scholarship presentation ceremony presided over by the Secretary for Education of Hong Kong Eddie Ng, an art student, surnamed Yu, went on stage in black with a blue ribbon over his breast pocket and a piece of black tape over his mouth to protest the death of press freedom in front of the high official.

According to the Apple Daily, when Eddie Ng shook Yu’s hand, he offered words of encouragement to the student, expressing that he understood his request. Way to go!
