Around HK$170,000 (US$21,800) worth of goods are believed to have been stolen from the home of Jackie Chan’s ex-lover last night.

Artist and beauty queen Elaine Ng reported the burglary to police at 10pm on Sunday after finding her home near Happy Valley had been ransacked.

It is not known exactly how many items have been stolen, but hk01 reports that the items include clothing, two rings worth about HK$70,000, and guitars worth about HK$100,000.

According to Ming Pao, preliminary investigations found no evidence of forced entry.

In that case, ninjas are a possibility. And if it was ninjas and, for some reason, Jackie Chan was cleaning the pool at the time, here’s exactly what WOULD have happened.

Ng first shot to fame after winning the 1990 Miss Asia pageant, and then went on to star in local TV dramas. After much speculation, in 1999 Ng disclosed that she had an affair with Chan and was pregnant. Chan responded by saying he “only committed a fault that every single man in the world commits”.

She is the mother to Chan’s estranged daughter Etta Ng, who came out this year by posting a picture of herself in front of a rainbow background on Instagram.
