Canal Road Flyover
A black Ferrari worth HK$6 million was completely destroyed after it caught fire and burst into flames while the driver was heading towards Happy Valley.
The 55-year-old driver had just picked up his car from Aberdeen after a regular check-up at the garage, and was driving his sports car on the Canal Road Flyover when he was alerted by the warning light on his dashboard and smoke from the car’s engine. He immediately abandoned his car and fortunately escaped with no injuries. When firefighters arrived at the scene, it took over 30 minutes for them to extinguish the flames and the cause of the fire is still unknown and under investigation reports The Sun.
