HK$300,000 worth of jewellery stolen from Luk Fook store in Tuen Mun

Some thieves had some guts to smash and grab HK$300,000 worth of jewellery at Luk Fook Jewellery store in Tuen Mun Town Plaza yesterday at around 6am.

CCTV footage showed three men with dark coloured clothes, carrying a backpack and long hammer. They approached the window of Luk Fuk Jewellery and shattered the glass with the hammer. As one guarded the robbery, one smashed the window, the other was quick to sweep all the jewellery into a bag.

The thieves were able to run off with the jewellery in about 30 seconds.

This is the fourth burglary using the same tactic in the past eight months. The good thing is that we’re pretty sure most of the things stolen were insured!
