HK$1 million stolen from luxury home in Sha Tin

Another burglary? Yes and this time the burglars ran off with nearly HK$1 million worth of cash, watches and jewellery.

 

The two burglars were spotted on surveillance cameras at Windsor Heights where properties sell for about HK$50 million. The couple entered a resident, belonging to a businessman who was in Macau for the weekend, around 10pm on Sunday. They pried open a bedroom window and took about HK$500,000 in cash, two luxury watches and a ring woth about HK$430,000 in total.

The SCMP reports this wasn’t the only burglary on Sunday, another three homes were burgled.

One happened in Tin Shui Wai where HK$135,000 were stolen another took place at a flat on Electric Road, North Point where jewellery worth HK$120,000 were stolen.

The last incident occurred at a flat in Yik Kwan Avenue, Happy Valley where nine watches worth HK$500,000 were stolen.
