Spared by magic, it was not.

Disneyland re-opened today after — just like the rest of Hong Kong — it was pummeled unmercifully by Typhoon Mangkhut.

Pictures shared on Facebook by The Hong Kong Main Street Gazette, a news source for all things HK Disneyland that isn’t officially affiliated with the company, show the toll winds exacted on the enchanted kingdom.

There were downed trees and fallen light poles and broken fences, a sight that concerned fans, like the folks behind this enthusiastic Disney and More blog, another source you can use for news update from the entertainment giant if you’re so inclined.

After cleaning up yesterday, Disneyland Hong Kong announced on its Facebook page it was reopening today.

Parts of the park, though, will be suspended for repairs including the “Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre,” which is closed until further notice.
