In Hong Kong, there is a couple who has been in a romantic relationship for 65 years, but they haven’t headed to the altar until now!
Apparently many old couples did not have the luxury of a proper marriage so NGO Volunteer Space is helping 18 pairs of such couples organise marriage arrangements and fulfill their dreams.
89-year-old Mak Yu-lap and 77-year-old Tang Shui-fung fell in love with each other 65 years ago, however they didn’t properly get married in the past as Tang’s birth certificate was lost during wartime. Now their dream to be husband and wife is finally coming true.
