At around 8am this morning, a schoolgirl ran towards and fell onto the train track at the Sheung Shui MTR station, only to be rescued by a middle-aged bystander, reports Apple Daily.
After the girl fell, bystanders immediately called for help and pressed the emergency stop button. A man then jumped onto the track and helped the apparently injured girl make her way onto the railway platform. MTR workers then rushed to the scene.
A witness claimed that the man was in his forties and “not a white-collar type.”
Whoever the man is, massive props to him!
