Help send this 12-year-old girl repping Hong Kong to Irish Dance Camp!

Alicia Sambrook, a 12 year-old girl living in Hong Kong is one of the ten dancers from around the world selected as a finalist for a scholarship to the 2016 Fusion Dance Fest in Ireland.

Happening this August, the Fusion Dance Fest is put on by dance company Fusion Fighters and offers dancers around the world a six-day-long festival that includes workshops and seminars about traditional Irish dance put on by a team of experienced choreographers.

The scholarship competition gives the approved dancers an opportunity to nab a 50 percent refund of the festival ticket price, which is awarded to the dancer who manages to collect the most views on their video. So her father, Frank, has very sweetly sent Coconuts HK Alicia’s scholarship video to help spread the word.

Girl’s clearly got some moves! At the time of writing, the video has amassed 5,566 views. It features Alicia killing it to a song from “The Phantom of the Opera” as the sun sets in Hong Kong.

If the video didn’t convince you, Alicia has built up quite the resume in her five years of Irish dancing. In April, she came in eighth at the European Championships in Brighton, UK – no wonder considering she trains three to six times a week.

The competition ends at 12:43pm GMT or 8:34 PM HKT on May 22, so hurry up Coconauts! Make sure to watch and share the video to help Alicia bag the scholarship, and you can check off being a Good Samaritan on your daily to-do list.
