Contrary to popular belief, Oktoberfest isn’t just celebrated in October. In fact, this year’s sud-soaked party began in Germany on Sept. 9, so we’re already way behind!
Making up for lost time, Happy Valley Races will be bringing the beer and Bavarian boisterousness to Happy Wednesdays TONIGHT!
Along with lashings of beer and good cheer, traditional German food will be available, as will performances from an authentic German “oompah” band, lederhosen included.
If that’s not got you excited enough, visitors will also have the chance to win up to HKD10,000 in games like the “Speed Drinking Contest” (kind of like speed dating but with less puking), “Hold the Beer” (apparently that’s hard) and the “Fiendish Maze Challenge”.
If you can make it out of that, you’ve got no excuse for failing to find your way home after.
