Handcuff-escaping acid attack suspect, 18, found in friend’s home after 10 hours on the loose

You can now breathe easy! An 18-year-old acid-splashing-suspect/escape-artist was found 10 hours after he ran away from police while at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday morning.

The slippery teenager was at hospital under the supervision of two (now very embarassed) police officers, because he was feeling ill. He asked for a blanket after complaining that the air-conditioning was too cold (probably a legitimate complaint), and proceeded to use it to hide the fact that he was breaking out of his handcuffs.

He then ran out of the door, jumped over a parking lot railing to the level below, and landed on the roof of a private car before running for freedom. This kid may be some sort of magician-parkour-runner, but he seriously needs some role models in his life.

After a huge 10-hour manhunt, the police found him at his 23-year-old friend’s house in Chai Wan at around 4pm, reports Apple Daily

His buddy was arrested for aiding and abetting a criminal.

The police are investigating how the teen manage to slip out of two officers’ hands.
