Trouserless man belt-whips stranger waiting for noodles in Wan Chai

A man was attacked by a 58-year-old trouserlessman stranger while waiting in line for his takeaway order at a noodle shop on Hennessy Road in Wan Chai.

The assailant, surnamed Wong, was wearing nothing but an inside-out polo shirt and black underpants when he assaulted the victim, a 34-year-old man surnamed Lee, at 12:15am this morning, reports Oriental Daily.

Wong walked towards Lee, pulled out a belt, started to whip the man, who was unable to escape. Lee sustained minor injuries, including wounds on his face.

The attacker had reportedly taken off his trousers and removed the belt immediately before the assault.

Strangely enough, Wong stayed at the scene after the attack and sat near the noodle shop.

The police arrived and arrested him, still without his pants.

After conducting an investigation, the police concluded that the two men are complete strangers. The fate of Lee’s takeaway noodles is still unknown.
