Organic is all the rage now — just look at the wallet-shrivelling price tags on organic produce at the market.
Now, you can harvest your own organic veggies for just $300 a month at the brand new, 750,000-square-foot urban harm set to open in East Kowloon from March — the “Urban Oasis” in Ngau Tau Kok.
Run by the social welfare group Christian Family Service Centre, the site has 300 nursery planters open to public rental that lets you plant five seasonal produce including broccoli, carrots, and tomatoes. Everything will be provided—hand tools, water, and fertilisers, even training courses.
The group has also previously provided horticultural therapy for people suffering from dementia and depression.
