Government spends HK$4,300 on each 999 call centre chair

Legislators have questioned the government why the chairs used at 999 call centres averaged about HK$4,300 each. Immigration department border control officers uses chairs that are about HK$1,000. Additionally, some media reports show the police had bought chairs costing more than HK$10,000 each.
