Glide over to the Hong Kong Space Museum for ‘Dream to Fly 3D’!

Isn’t it amazing to think that you can make it from Hong Kong to Peru in less than 48 hours when, thousands of years ago, Hongkongers hadn’t even heard of Peru? And to think that nowadays we complain about the Wi-Fi being too slow as we cruise at an altitude of 35,000ft. Incredible!

If you’re still mind-blown by the fact that HUMANS CAN ACTUALLY FLY, head on over to the Hong Kong Space Museum for the meant-to-be-amazing “Dream to Fly 3D”.

In the summer of 1783 the French Montgolfier brothers invented the first hot air balloon. It carried animals on-board during its first flight, which managed to return to earth safely.

This image probably doesn’t do justice to the experience of seeing this on a massive dome-shaped screen.

Screening twice a day from now until June 29 (get the exact dates here), the 35-minute show will take Hongkongers through the 2,500-year history of aviation on the museum’s incredible dome-shaped screen, equipped with the latest 3D techy stuff.

You’ll take off with the kites in China, cruise past Leonardo Da Vinci’s initial flying machine doodles, work your way up the Wright Brothers, and finally launch into outer space missions.

What are you waiting for? You ought to be flying over to TST by now.
