Yesterday morning a tour guide had a bit of a meltdown after her group apparently did not spend enough in a store during their two-day trip.
Her 23 charges were ordered to go shopping in a To Kwa Wan store, but they reportedly did not buy enough to satisfy the guide, whose pay is directly affected by their spending, according to Apple Daily.
The frustrated woman stormed onto their tour bus and proceeded to throw all of their bags off, row by row, as the terrified tourists stood outside and watched in horror.
As no one called the police or complained to the government, no further action was taken and the tour reportedly continued on with the itinerary as planned, visiting the usual tourist spots in Tsim Sha Tsui before returing to the mainland.
Of course, the entire incident was captured on film and shared widely on social media. You can watch some of the more dramatic parts of the clip on Apple Daily’s website.
What’s that again about Hong Kong having the third-worst customer service in the world?
