Friends and colleagues pay tribute to JP Morgan employee who jumped to his death

Colleagues of Dennis Li Junjie observed a moment of silence for their colleague who fell to his death at the JP Morgan headquarters at Chater House in Central on Tuesday.

Flowers and food – including boxes of chicken rice, chocolates and beer were placed on the pavement outside Chater House.

Li is confirmed to be an associate for JP Morgan and responsible for back-up services. He joined the company in 2011 as a client reporting specialist before becoming an associate of Asia Investment Banking billing liaison in Feb. 2013.

Li’s friends took to his Facebook to express their sorrow for losing a dear friend. Many of them expressing they knew he was unhappy but didn’t know he was “so” upset. In fact, Li seemed to have communicated with one friend that he was looking to return to Toronto, as he had studied at the University of Toronto.
