Seven women have accused a Hong Kong-based former associate of disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct, according to reports.

The man at the center of the allegations is Bey Logan, a British-born martial arts enthusiast who was a vice president of the Weinstein company from 2005 to 2009.

The claims include Logan forcing himself on two women in hotel rooms, requiring women to audition naked, and exposing himself on set to an actress, whom he also allegedly humiliated by making her regularly strip off her clothes to check her weight.

The 56-year-old — who worked a co-producer on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Sword of Destiny and is the director of a still unfinished film called Snowblade has rejected “most” of the allegations.

In a statement, he denied any criminal wrongdoing and blamed the film industry’s “culture” for what he called his “insensitive” behavior.

According to a hk01 report published this morning, one of the women accusing Logan of misconduct is Sable Yu, an Indonesian-Chinese former actress who had a starring role in Snowblade,  which was described in a statement sent by Logan to HK01 as “a Japanese genre inspired film involving martial arts, nudity and violence.”

Yu told the website that Logan made her strip to her underwear on a daily basis so that he could check to see if she had gained weight, exposed himself to her on set, and on one occasion, tweaked her nipple in front of the whole crew on set.

Of the nipple-tweaking incident, Yu said she was “livid,” adding “I felt like somebody literally threw shit in my face.”

Yu said that Logan’s wife, a lawyer, would threaten her with legal action when she tried to quit the film due to the psychological pressure. Yu eventually left the film.

She told the website that her experience on set was so traumatic that she is still seeking help from a psychologist and psychiatrist.

Another women who revealed their encounters with Logan is an Australian-Chinese actress identified as “Miss A,” who worked as Logan’s interpreter on the set of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Sword of Destiny in Beijing in 2015.

Miss A told the website that after a 20-hour working day on the Great Wall of China, he offered her his room for a short rest as she was not allocated one due to her Beijing residence.

After falling asleep in the room,  Miss A she said that she was woken up by Logan getting into the bed. He then proceeded to kiss her, try to take her clothes off and put his head between her legs, she alleged.

She told the website that she could feel Logan’s erection against her and told him “no, don’t do that”.

She said he responded by saying, “I need something.” Miss A said she told him no and then left the hotel room, according to the report.

Another woman, identified only as “Miss  Z,” also told the website that when she and Logan were on location in Nanhai in Foshan, China, Logan forcibly kissed her and pinned her down on the bed in her hotel. She was saved after her phone rang.

Miss Z also told the website she had an encounter with Weinstein that led to him asking her if she could watch him shower. That encounter occurred after Logan informed her that Weinstein was looking for a host for the Asian version of Project Runway.

Miss A and four other accusers allege Logan acted inappropriately during “casting sessions” for the unfinished movie Snowblade, sessions which occurred after the film’s main investor pulled out, leaving the film in limbo.

Between 2012 until early 2017, Logan continued inviting women to audition for the film’s female lead role, according to the report.

During these sessions, he would often ask those auditioning to be either half or fully naked, according to the five women who spoke with HK01. The group included Chinese-French model Helene Siwan Leclerc, German actress Natalie Lund, an unnamed Taiwanese model, and another woman whose identity was not revealed.

Logan first responded to the allegations in a phone interview with hk01.

“I definitely never forced myself on anybody, never had to force myself on anybody,” he said.

“The complaints that you have… is the things that I tried to do, rather than anything that actually happened.”

Asked to address the allegations made by Yu regarding her experience on the set of Snowblade, Logan called the actress “crazy.”

“Finally you go to Snowblade, my one cursed project with this crazy woman Sable, and you said, ‘what happened there?’ I think I had too many girlfriends, I think I had relationships with girls who perhaps fell in love with me, and I wasn’t being serious, which I think is quite common,” he said.

“So I think that’s something in my own heart I have to atone for.”

In a statement later sent to hk01, he said: “I regret that any actions I might have taken could have caused distress to anyone. I was insensitive because my position and the industry’s culture had allowed me to consider my behavior then acceptable.”

“Most of the accusations now made and elicited in this article are either untrue or taken out of context… I categorically deny any criminal wrongdoing.

“I will now step back and take time to reflect on my behaviour and the values which I should uphold.”
