Former Ming Pao editor hacking case adjourned until June

The case where former Ming Pao newspaper chief editor, Kevin Lau, was hacked with a cleaver, leaving him severely injured was adjourned when the two suspects believed to be the attacker and the getaway driver were not identified at an identity parade in March.

The Eastern Court gave the police more time to gather more solid evidence and it appears the two men charged previously, Yip Kim-wah and Wong Chi-wah will make another appearance at court in an adjourned court hearing in June.

The two are jointly charged with one count of wounding with intent and another of theft reports the RTHK
