If you’ve so far done nothing for Movember except not bother to shave, it’s time to put your money where your hairy upper lip is… in the most fun way possible, naturally.
Next Thursday (Nov. 19), everyone’s favourite indoor-outdoor club Mahalo Tiki Lounge will be hosting an all-inclusive “Wig Out Movember – Wipe Out Cancer” party, featuring – you guessed it – wigs!
The strict dress code of white and wigs is an attempt to make Movember inclusive of women and the surprisingly large number of men who just can’t grow decent facial hair (you know who you are, hang your head in shame).
There will be prizes on the night for “Best Dressed”, “Best Wig” and “Best Stache”, however, so those will fabulous facial follicles will also get their time to shine.
A battle behind the bar is set to take place as well, as four of Hong Kong’s best-known (but still not well known enough to bother naming) mixologists shake it up in a bid to earn votes for the hottest cocktail of the evening.
All the fun will be expertly captured by the super-cool Hong Kong photographers from Venture Studios, while upbeat modern funk will be supplied by the bucket load courtesy of the DJs from Cliché Records.
And before we finish this article without mentioning the words PROSTATE CANCER (!!!), that’s what it’s all in aid of.
