Finally! Ferris wheel on HK’s harbourfront to soft launch in September

After almost a year after the contract to build a giant ferris wheel overlooking the Hong Kong harbour was awarded to Swiss AEX, the 60-metre structure will finally be erected, with the soft opening in Sept, reports the SCMP.

Swiss AEX announced that the Ferris wheel will have 42 gondolas, each holding ten passengers and is expected to attract a million passengers a year, 2,740 per day.

The price for a ride on the Ferris wheel will cost HK$100 for adults and HK$70 for children.
