As 40,000 Sevens-goers performed superhuman feats of drinking, rugby players demonstrated their athletic prowess on the pitch, reminding us all of both the incredible capabilities of the human body and just how amazingly unfit we all are compared to these elite sportsmen.
This moment in the quarter-finals against England, when Pio Tuwai made a mind-blowing offload to his teammate, proves just how much Fiji deserved to win the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens cup.
First, an English player tried to tackle Tuwai unsuccessfully. Then, a second English player made an attempt to bring Tuwai to the ground. But incredibly, as the Fijian fell, he managed to pop the ball behind and across his back to Jerry Tuwai (no relation), who promptly scored a try.
Amazing!
