An MTR cleaner found a purple recyclable bag abandoned at the Yau Ma Tei MTR platform yesterday morning at around 11am. When she opened it, she was shocked to discover a fetus, according to the Apple Daily.
Strangely, a woman on the Kwun Tong line platform approached the cleaner and pointedly said to her that “this bag isn’t mine!” before leaving in a hurry. When the cleaner discovered the foetus inside, it was still attached to its umbilical cord and placenta. The fetus did not survive.
