In Hong Kong, the dilemma of “where do we take the family on our day out” is normally solved by a trip to Ocean Park. It looks like this family of boars had the same idea.
According to Apple Daily, police received a report that a pack of eight wild boars had been spotted at the theme park just after 1pm yesterday.
Some of the park’s visitors who probably went to see the pandas and dolphins probably found the family of boars more interesting.
One witness surnamed Chan told the newspaper that he saw about four or five boars — one was about three feet long — looking for food in the bushes, presumably not tempted by the overpriced food options available at the theme park.
Staff from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department arrived on the scene to usher the animals out of the park, but they had left already, likely cause they were boar-ed (sorry).
