Erwiana abuse case delayed as Hong Kong awaits medical reports from Indonesia

Law Wan-tung, Erwiana’s former employer alleged to have brutally abused Erwiana when she was working for her in Hong Kong, along with two other helpers was delayed today as courts await medical reports from Indonesian authorities.

Outside Kwun Tong court, as Law was released on bail, supporters chanted “Justice for Erwiana” and expressed discontent regarding the delay in the trial.

The case has been adjourned to Apr. 29.

Previous reports state that Erwiana has agreed to return to Hong Kong to testify against Law.
