Emergency services this morning rescued an elderly woman who was hit by a tram and trapped underneath it.
The incident, photos of which were uploaded online, happened just before 9am on Causeway Road near the Hong Kong Central Library, Ming Pao reported.
The SCMP reported the victim, whose age was not given, was conscious when rescued and taken to Ruttonjee Hospital in Wan Chai.
Tram services were temporarily disrupted by the incident, but have since resumed.
