At around 2am this morning, a 30-year-old taxi driver called the police when one his drunk passenger smashed his car’s back window to bits.
According to Oriental Daily, the driver had picked up the 40-something-year-old couple and was heading towards Yau Ma Tei via Waterloo Road when the male passenger and the driver got into an argument.
When the male passenger got off, he smashed the window with his right fist. When the police arrived, the passenger was covered in blood and was sent to the hospital. The male passenger agreed to compensate the driver for repairs of the damaged window to settle the matter.
