Drunk man drives into military closed area for a tour

Osborn Barracks, Kowloon Tong

A drunk man with a female passenger drove into a military closed area despite a clear “No Trespassing” sign and circled inside around once before being stopped by the military, who called the police.

According to The Sun the middle-aged man had been drinking in Tsim Sha Tsui the previous night and met a mainland woman, who he then invited her to ride beside him in the passenger seat as they went for a drive.

In the morning, while still drunk, he drove the woman around Kowloon Tong and when they passed the military camp on Renfrew Road, Osborn Barracks, the gates were open and they decided to drive in, right past the watching guardsmen. After cruising around inside for a “tour,” they tried to leave but was stopped by the military guardsmen who called the police. The driver was charged with drunk driving.
