Three Latvian guys reenacted scenes from the movie Hangover at Tsim Sha Tsui yesterday before getting arrested by the police.
The incident happened when the wasted trio boarded a taxi and asked to be taken to a brothel. On their way to the nightclub areas in Tsim Sha Tsui across from Tsim Sha Tsui Centre, one of the guys kicked the taxi window, smashing it to bits. As the driver tried to call the police, one of the guys ran off and managed to take possession of a maintenance truck and drove away with it. The truck driver doing maintenance work nearby chased after the truck for about 20m before managing to open the door and pulling the car keys. The police arrived promptly at the scene and the three are arrested for disorderly conduct, criminal damage and theft, and common assault.
