A drunk Westerner smashed his car into an antique shop on Hollywood Road this morning, leaving a trail of destruction, including two knocked-over signs and an uprooted fire hydrant, in his wake.
At 5:33am, the 28-year-old was driving along Hollywood Road in Sheung Wan when he lost control of the car while approaching Lok Ku Road, and drove onto the pavement.

The shop owner, surnamed Lam, said a display at the front of the store had been broken, and dozens of antiques with “five, six thousands of years of history” had been damaged.
