With its dense and towering rooftops, Hong Kong is an attractive destination for parkour enthusiasts, the daredevil sport where people leap off buildings or structures.
The practice has its following and its detractors. First and foremost among the latter: security guards, who often feature in videos attempting to chase away the daredevils from places they shouldn’t be.
Such a showdown occurred recently in Tsim Sha Tsui.
The neighborhood featured in the most recent addition to the plethora of parkour videos in Hong Kong, a three-minute clip by UK parkour group Storror who filmed themselves running and leaping off buildings in the area.
The video, uploaded on Monday, begins with a security guard telling three of the members “no” repeatedly, and warning them that he will call the police. Listen, they don’t.
The trio are believed to have started at the top of a few buildings near Nathan Road on the same side of Chungking Mansions, running through laundry lines, and ladders.
Oh yeah, and jumping between buildings.
The video then ends with the trio running through the iSQUARE mall which is on the other side of Nathan Road, thanks to a very sneaky jump cut at two minutes and 18 seconds.
This is not the first time Storror have been in Hong Kong, they group filmed themselves in September scaling other buildings in the city.
The parkour troupe, which comprises seven people, recently released a documentary about parkour called Roof Culture Asia where they scale buildings in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Seoul.
If you’re a fan, you can watch below. If you’re a security guard, it might make you mad.
