A 22-year-old Filipina helper was injured and her boss’ 15-year-old daughter arrested on Monday after they got into a dispute with a visitor who turned up at their Kowloon flat, demanding money.
A mainland Chinese woman surnamed Cui visited the flat on Prince Edward Road at around 10pm on Monday claiming to be the mistress of the patriarch of the household, who was out at the time. She brought a four-year-old boy — their alleged love child — and a birth certificate which allegedly proved his paternity with her, Oriental Daily reports.
Reports suggest that Cui was seeking the father of her child in order to demand living expenses.
The man’s helper and 15-year-old daughter refused to let Cui enter, after which she allegedly became violent and tried to destroy the security gate with a piece of plastic pipe, injuring the helper’s foot in the process. During the quarrel, the teenage girl reportedly tore up her alleged half-brother’s birth certificate.
Police later arrived to arrest both the teen and the 26-year-old on suspicion of criminal damage. The Filipina was taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries. According to Oriental Daily, the unnamed man, who is married, had previously paid Cui HKD2 million to end their relationship.
