The Hong Kong interwebz were ablaze when a photo showing a HKD500 bill in a KMB bus coin slot went viral.
Apparently a secondary school student slipped in the bill and disappeared into the crowd before the driver could even process the fact that, yes, someone really did just pay for the bus with a HKD500 bill.
The driver said he had never seen anyone pull such a stunt in his 18 years of driving the bus, reports Apple Daily.
“Why didn’t he just take a taxi?” some netizens asked. Seriously.
