Parents in Hong Kong went into a frenzy yesterday after a suspected blood-stained syringe was found inside a doll in a Toys “R” Us store in Hung Hom.
A photo of the toy posted on Facebook last night said the doll was found in the baby toys section inside the store’s Whampoa Garden branch.
Police confirmed to Apple Daily that they received a report that a suspected blood-stained syringe was found inside a doll at about 10pm last night, and are still investigating the case.
If the image of a doll with a syringe sounds familiar, then you may have heard of Chucky, the notorious serial killer doll who tries to transfer his soul to a human body.
The image of Chucky with the syringe comes from the film Cult of Chucky, which was released this year.
