Eating out tomorrow? The expense is sure hefty.
In the last three years, Christmas buffets at hotels have increased by 40%. Even in three-star hotels, the cost of a Christmas buffet has nearly doubled, due to the rising costs of food and inflation.
Despite this, seats for Christmas buffets are still fully booked. With higher rents and wages, even meals at fast food restaurants have increased by 20 to 30 per cent.
