Owners of a Chinese restaurant in the Netherlands have allegedly posted a sign that says they will not serve their “Hong Kong compatriots” in Chinese.
Photos of the restaurant sign went viral after Hong Kong tourists visiting the town of Volendam shared them online, reports Passion Times.

“The sign could have just said they don’t serve Hong Kong people, not Hong Kong compatriots – it’s like they’re schizophrenic,” noted one netizen.
Others commented that such discrimination is illegal in Europe.
Good point, netizens! Let’s keep our xenophobia to places where it’s allowed, shall we?
