Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam, who spent the night at a hospital after injuring herself in a fall, was discharged from hospital Tuesday morning.
According to HK01, Lam was spotted with her arm in a sling as she left Queen Mary Hospital around 9 am. She got into a seven-seater car and did not speak with reporters, RTHK said.
Lam fell at her residence, Government House, the night before. The Chief Executive office said the leader fell while taking the stairs.

She went to Queen Mary Hospital, where she was diagnosed with a minor right elbow fracture. Lam stayed overnight for observation upon doctor’s advice.
A weekly meeting with Executive Council members and her press conference Tuesday morning were canceled.
