Centre of Health admits to failing to prevent the spread of HIV in the gay community

The Hong Kong Centre of Health have admitted that their strategies to prevent the spread of HIV within the local gay community has failed. Moving forward, they don’t have a good solution either, reports The Standard.

The announcement was made after a record high of HIV reported cases in the first quarter this year was made public.

Of the new reported cases, 55 percent were transmitted through homosexual contact between men.
