Cathay Pacific cancels two connecting flights to Karachi, Pakistan

In light of recent Taliban attacks in Karachi, Cathay Pacific has reviewed the safety of the airport and have cancelled two connecting flights between Hong Kong and Karachi via Bangkok today, reports the SCMP.

Cathay Pacific runs four flights a week between Hong Kong and Karachi via Bangkok.

On Tuesday, the Hong Kong government issued a red travel alert warning for travels to Pakistan, reminding Hong Kong residents to avoid unnecessary travel to the affected country.
